Announced on May 6, 2026, Proton posted April group sales of 18,156 units, bringing its YTD total to 67,298 units, up 40.9% YoY. While Malaysia’s total industry volume (TIV) is estimated to have grown 17.7% YoY in April and 1.8% YTD, Proton’s market share is estimated at 25% for April and 26.4% YTD.
