Government of India cuts e-2W incentive under PM E-DRIVE, sets July 2026 deadline for subsidy claims
On March 27, 2026, The Ministry of Heavy Industries amended the PM E-DRIVE scheme, halving the incentive for registered electric two-wheelers from INR 5,000 per kWh (capped at INR 10,000 per vehicle) to INR 2,500 per kWh (capped at INR 5,000 per vehicle) effective April 1, 2025, with a terminal date of July 31, 2026 ....
