Tesla to launch level 2 FSD in Japan by late 2026
On March 5, Tesla unveiled a level 2 self-driving car for driving on public roads in Japan. Test runs have been underway in the country since August 2025, initially with the Model 3 and using company employees, but the company has now also begun testing the Model Y SUV.
