Stellantis introduces new 1.6-liter hybrid powertrain
On August 21, 2025, Stellantis introduced a new 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder hybrid engine combined with a hybrid transmission featuring two electric motors. The powertrain will be featured on the sixth-generation 2026 Jeep Cherokee and is expected to produce 210 hp and 230 lb-ft of torque.
