Jaguar Land Rover to set up manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, India, operations to start in 2026
On June 25, the Government of Tamil Nadu announced on its social media handles that Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, will set up a new automotive manufacturing facility in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. The plant is scheduled to begin completely knocked down (CKD) operations in early 2026.
