Continental to end truck tire production in India
On June 2, multiple sources reported that Continental will cease manufacturing truck and bus radial (TBR) tires at its Modipuram facility in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, by June 2025. The company plans to shift its focus entirely to producing passenger car and light truck (PLT) tires in India.
