Johor state, Malaysia targets over 15,000 EV registrations and 1,245 charging stations by 2030
Reported on February 13, 2025, Johor, state of Malaysia, is targeting 15,840 EV registrations by 2030, a sharp rise from the current 977 units, based on Road Transport Department figures.
To support the transition, the state is also targeting 1,245 EV charging stations, up from the current 377 available statewide.
