Rivian receives ‘well over 100,000’ preorders for R2
On July 21, during an event at its Normal, Illinois plant, Rivian’s vice president of manufacturing Tim Fallon said pre-orders for the R2 have reached “well over 100,000,” with new orders increasing “organically.”
The R2 had already received over 68,000 reservations in March, within 24 hours of the order window open....
