Global xEV sales down 1.6% to 1.78 million units in April
On May 25, MarkLines announced that global xEV (including BEV, PHEV and HEV) sales in April decreased 1.6% YoY to 1.78 million units.
In the first four months of 2026, total xEV sales decreased 5.8% YoY to 6.43 million units.
xEVs accounted for 36.1% of total sales in April, up 1.2% point from the previous month.
