Ford extends shutdown of F-150 Lightning plant after battery fire
On February 24, Ford Motor Co. said it is extending the production shutdown of its F-150 Lightning at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn at least until March 6 while its battery supplier, SK On, changes how it produces the power cells at a plant in Georgia.
