Stellantis, U.S. NHTSA confirm third air bag death, owners urged to get repairs
On December 19, Stellantis and the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) confirmed that an exploding Takata air bag inflator has killed another driver, and reiterated warnings to owners of 274,000 older Dodge and Chrysler vehicles to stop driving them until faulty inflators are replaced.
