Volkswagen starts production of ID.4 in Emden, Germany plant
On May 20, Volkswagen announced that it has started production of the all-electric ID.4 in Emden. Volkswagen has invested around EUR 1 billion in converting the Emden plant and will invest a total of EUR 21 billion in Lower Saxony up to 2026 to make the federal state Germany’s center for electric mobility.
