Volkswagen idles two shifts at Sao Bernardo do Campo plant in Brazil
On May 3, Volkswagen announced that it will halt two shifts and grant collective vacations to 2,500 workers at its Sao Bernardo do Campo plant due to lack of semiconductor parts.
The shutdown-vacation will be from May 9 to May 28 at the plant that builds the Polo, Virtus, Nivus and Saveiro models.
