China to remove limits on foreign automotive investments
On December 27, the Chinese government announced it will abolish the 50% ownership stake limit for foreign automakers operating in that country.
The change becomes effective on January 1, 2022.
Under the outgoing rules, a foreign automaker could only operate a total of two joint ventures, with the limit capped at 50%....
