Stellantis cutting second shift at Windsor minivan plant in spring 2022 before product ramp up in 2023
On October 15, Stellantis announced it will cut about 1,800 jobs at Windsor Assembly Plant when it goes to one shift from two starting in spring 2022 because of the global semiconductor shortage and effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unifor Local 444 said that the change would be effective April 17.
