Jeep Cherokee plant in Belvidere, Illinois to be down remainder of October
On October 6, Stellantis announced that production of the Jeep Cherokee will remain halted for the next two weeks at the Belvidere Assembly Plant in Illinois due to the global semiconductor shortage.
The plant, which employs 2,362 hourly workers, will be idled through the remainder of October.
