Rolls-Royce announces its first fully electric car

On September 29, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced that on-road testing of its first fully electric motor car is imminent. It will be available for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Rolls-Royce's first fully electric car is named as ‘Spectre’. In the testing Rolls-Royce will cover 2.5 million kilometres – a simulation of more than 400 years of use for a Rolls-Royce, on average.
With this new product Rolls-Royce set targets for full electrification of its entire product portfolio by 2030. Rolls-Royce will no longer be in the business of producing or selling any internal combustion engine products.
