Indian Government revises subsidy for electric two-wheelers, focus on three-wheelers and bus under FAME-II scheme
On June 11, Department of Heavy Industry announced amendment in Scheme for Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles in India Phase II (FAME- II).
For electric two-wheelers (e2w), demand incentive will be INR 15,000 per KWh. The cap on incentives for e2W will be 40% of the cost of vehicles.
