VW restarts second shift in Taubaté, Brazil, though with 25% reduction in hours
On July 27, Volkswagen restarted the second production shift at its Taubaté plant in Brazil “to meet additional demands from the domestic and export markets”.
Approximately 1,000 employees returned to the plant that builds the Up!, Gol and Voyage, which normally has more than 3,000 employees working.
