Daimler to stop building sedans in U.S., Mexico in cost-cutting bid after Q2 losses
On July 16, Daimler said it will stop building Mercedes-Benz sedans in the U.S. and Mexico as part of cost-cutting measures to streamline production, after saying in a pre-release of earnings ahead of July 23 that it will post a smaller-than-expected operating loss in the second quarter.
