VW Chattanooga extends suspension to reopen April 5 due to coronavirus
On March 25, Volkswagen announced that its plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee will remain closed, thereby extending the shutdown period which began March 21 so as resume production on Sunday, April 5 at 10 p.m.
VW will continue to provide full pay for all team members at the factory during the shutdown.
