On February 18, Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced the official launch of new Ignis, unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020.
The new IGNIS is powered by 1.2 litre BS-VI compliant petrol engine with manual and auto gear shift (AGS) transmission options. It is launched in four variants and its price starts from INR 489 thousand to INR 720 thousand.
The new IGNIS exudes an SUV design with imposing front fascia, wide rear appearance and high seating position. Adding to the SUV character of the new IGNIS are the striking rear spoiler, roof rails and high ground clearance.
