BMW introduces X5 xDrive40d, X6 xDrive40d with straight six-cylinder diesel engine, mild hybrid technology
On February 11, BMW announced that the new BMW X5 xDrive40d and new BMW X6 xDrive40d, both assembled in Spartanburg, South Carolina, will have a newly developed straight six-cylinder diesel engine with a 48-volt starter generator, beginning in May 2020.
