FCA announced that it would launch a new top-of-the-line Ultra version of the Fiat Toro pickup in Brazil. The primary addition of the Fiat Toro Ultra is the standard Dynamic Cover which protects items in the truck bed from the weather or from possible theft. The Dynamic Cover is removable to enable the loading of larger objects if necessary. The Fiat Toro Ultra keeps the 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine and nine-speed automatic transmission from the base model.
The Ultra version of the Fiat Toro will be available in December 2019 starting at BRL 164,990. Since its launch in 2016, the Fiat Toro has sold 200,000 units in Brazil.
