GM strike in 23rd day has led to more than 100 auto suppliers laying off 12,000 workers
As of October 8, the 23rd day of the United Auto Workers' strike against General Motors, more than 100 automotive supplier companies have enacted some form of temporary layoffs affecting up to 12,000 salaried and hourly employees in the U.S., according to the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA).
