Modular curb charger capable of charging 22kW AC, which can be integrated into existing backend systems and charging system infrastructures via an open charge point protocol (OCPP). Together with TankE GmbH and the City of Cologne, Rheinmetall has launched a pilot project to test curb chargers in public traffic areas starting from April 25th.

-A demonstration test vehicle for unmanned autonomous driving that is compatible with Level 4 autonomous driving. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is participating in the automatic braking system for the project, sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) in Japan. In the demonstration test, the vehicle is being driven on a road for pedestrians and bicycles in Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture. Sensing systems include one camera on the vehicle roof, four sonar systems in front of the vehicle, and a millimeter wave radar system behind the bumper.
