Stellantis closes Luton plant after 120 years, shifting operations to Ellesmere Port in UK
On March 28, multiple sources reported that the Stellantis Luton plant has built its last vehicle, a Vivaro van, ending 120 years of operations. Stellantis announced the closure in November 2024, shifting all Vauxhall UK operations to Ellesmere Port, where medium electric van (eK0) production will begin in Q4 2026.
