VW's ID. family introduces bidirectional charging system for home energy management
On December 6, Volkswagen announced its ID. family now offers bidirectional charging, featuring the "Vehicle to Home" function in many models. Teaming up with HagerEnergy GmbH, a Volkswagen partner, a pilot project in Sweden supplies an entire housing estate with vehicles and corresponding charging infrastructure.
