UAW begins new strike at 8,700-member Kentucky Truck Plant
UAW negotiations that began at 5:30 p.m. on October 10 at Ford headquarters broke down after only 10 minutes, and the UAW began a new strike at its Kentucky truck plant at around 6:35 p.m. on the same day. The UAW had asked Ford for more concessions before the negotiations, but Ford reportedly refused it.
