ZF Friedrichshafen AG (ZF) announced that it will present its latest bus and coach technologies, focusing on autonomous, connected, and electrified systems at the 65th UITP Global Public Transport Summit in Barcelona, Spain, from June 4-7, 2023. This includes the European premier of ZF’s new “CeTrax 2 dual” electric central drive for intercity buses and coaches. CeTrax 2 dual features an integrated three-speed transmission. The system also has a low weight of 385 kg and can deliver a high continuous performance of 380 kW. ZF will also present its fully electric next generation shuttle for autonomous driving in urban environments and mixed traffic, advanced SCALAR fleet orchestration platform, Bus Connect digital fleet management solution, ZF’s first Collision Mitigation System (CMS), and EcoLife 2 automatic transmission at this event.
