Thailand government agrees to reduce excise tax for pickup trucks to lessen pollution issue
According to Thailand Ministry of Finance, on March 5, 2019, besides eliminating excise tax for BEVs, the cabinet also agreed to reduce the excise tax for pickup trucks which have CO2 emissions of less than 0.005 micrometers (PM 0.005) or running on diesel B20.
