-The Company’s financial results for the fiscal year that ended in March 2019 are as follows.
Consolidated sales: JPY 60,344 million (2.2% increase year-over-year)
Operating income: JPY 3,215 million (0.1% increase year-over-year)
Ordinary income: JPY 3,291 million (5.5% increase year-over-year)
Current net profit attributable to the parent-company’s shareholders: JPY 2,139 million (5.7% increase year-over-year).
Sales generated by the automotive-parts business account for 83.6% of total consolidated sales.
-The Company announced that its Board of Directors adopted a resolution to acquire all outstanding shares of the French company Societe de Peinture de Pieces Plastiques (SPPP) and the Slovakian company SPPP Slovakia and have concluded a share purchase agreement. These 2 companies have been mainly engaged in the painting of automobile parts such as door mirror covers, door handles, etc. and have been highly esteemed by automotive part manufacturers and automobile manufacturers alike for their technical capabilities, high quality and cost competitiveness.
