Its operating profit was JPY 1.33 billion, down 19.2% y/y, ordinary profit was JPY 96 million, down 96.2% y/y, and net income attributable to owners of parent company was JPY 397 million. The auto parts business accounted for 84.5% of the Company's overall sales.
-In October 2016, the Company announced that it completed the acquisition of ASSA ABLOY's car access and security business on September 30. ASSA ABLOY, a Sweden-based company, designs, develops, and produces door opening and closing systems. The acquired assets from ASSA ABLOY include design and production facilities in the Czech Republic, Mexico, and China.
-In October 2015, the Company absorbed Gumma Alpha Co., Ltd. into its own operations. Gumma Alpha engaged in production and sales of zinc die-casting products.
