New Companies

-Inalfa Roof Systems Group B.V., a subsidiary of the Company, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its global headquarters in Venray, Netherlands in December 2014. -The Company and Germany-based Hella Group held a ceremony to celebrate the opening of their 50-50 joint venture, Beijing Hainachuan Hella Automotive Lamp Co., Ltd in November 2014. Acquisition

-Beijing Beiqi Mould & Plastic Technology Co., Ltd., a joint venture of the Company, announced that it reached agreement with Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. to acquire a bumper production line from Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology at CNY 35 million. After the purchase, the bumper department of Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology will become the Zhuzhou Branch of Beijing Beiqi Mould & Plastic Technology. Contracts

-The Company announced that its chassis plant has received technical guidance from Daimler, and is expecting to supply steering columns for the automakers' new models. Investment in China

-The Company and Beijing Benz signed an agreement to collaborate on producing automotive components in the Wuqing District, Tianjin in July 2014. Based on this agreement, the Company' parent company, BAIC Group is investing approximately CNY 5,000 million in constructing a new plant to manufacture major auto parts such as brakes, steering systems, and powertrains. -Beijing Automotive Group, the Company's parent company, announced that it signed an agreement with local government of Binzhou for a new plant project in Binzhou in June 2014.In accordance with this agreement, the Company will establish an auto parts factory in Binzhou by investing CNY 13,800 million. The new plant will produce engine cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts, pistons, transmission housings, differential housings and other components for heavy-duty vehicles.
