Acquisition

-The Company announced that it has acquired iOnRoad Technologies, Ltd. Based in Israel, iOnRoad is a development company of vehicle safety systems also known as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including the iOnRoad augmented reality driving application. iOnRoad will strengthen Harman's leadership in global infotainment systems and services for automakers and accelerate the rollout of new ADAS functionalities. -The Company announced its plan to establish a software engineering center in the northern Chicago suburbs, Illinois, the U.S. The company's new engineering center will lead the development of next-generation, connected car infotainment systems and automotive-grade cloud platforms. 3D surround sound system
-The Company unveiled its new QuantumLogic 3D, the three-dimensional surround sound experience based on QuantumLogic technology at the Geneva Motor Show. QuantumLogic 3D accurately identifies and redistributes audio streams (voices, instruments and spatial information) from the music source, and incorporates additional audio streams that are reproduced via overhead speakers.
