Business Restructuring
The Company announced its reorganization of domestic production facilities for aluminum die-cast components. The Hamamatsu Plant in Shizuoka Prefecture will be consolidated to the Toyohashi Plant in Aichi Prefecture by March 2013, and the name of the Toyohashi Plant will be changed to the "Tokai Plant." Domestic production of vehicles has consequently shrunk since the financial crisis in the fall of 2008, and the domestic market of die-cast products has fallen to three quarters of the level in 2007. Though cutting production capacity, the company intends to maintain employment of its workers.
