-The Company is a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation. It primarily develops, manufactures, and markets tires under a number of brands including Bridgestone, Firestone, Bandag, SureDrive, and Fuzion. The Company’s produces tires for a range of vehicles including passenger vehicles, light trucks, commercial vehicles, agricultural vehicles, motorcycles, and off-road vehicles.
-In January 2025, the Company announced plans to initiate various strategic initiatives to optimize its business footprint, improve its competitiveness, and enhance its U.S. operations. As part of these initiatives, the Company announced the decision to close its Truck and Bus Radial Tire Plant in LaVergne, Tennessee, U.S., effective July 31, 2025. Other cost optimization initiatives that the Company will implement include the reduction of plant capacity and workforce at its agriculture tire plant in Des Moines, Iowa, U.S., and workforce reductions across the Company’s corporate and sales units.
