Segments	Segment Overview
QNX	The division develops safe software for embedded systems and consists of QNX, BlackBerry Radar, and BlackBerry Certicom. The Company believes QNX is the world’s leading automotive foundational software supplier. QNX provides safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, middleware, solutions, and development tools for software-defined businesses across industries, including automotive and commercial vehicles. QNX software is embedded in more than 275 million vehicles worldwide and is implemented into all the top 10 automotive OEMs, 24 of the 25 top EV OEMs, and every major Tier 1 supplier, including BMW, Dongfeng Motor, Geely, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Bosch.
Secure Communications	The division provides a government-grade portfolio of secure and certified communications solutions for mobile fortification, critical communications, and crisis management.
Licensing	The division manages and monetizes the Company’s global patent portfolio. As of February 28, 2026, the Company owned approximately 6,100 worldwide patents and applications, covering areas such as operating systems, networking infrastructure, acoustics, messaging, enterprise software, automotive subsystems, cybersecurity, cryptography, and wireless communications.
