Summary

In the era of AI-driven intelligent connected technologies, vehicle cybersecurity and supply chain security are becoming important elements in building compliance in the automotive industry. The Automotive Supply Chain Information Security and Cyber Security Seminar, co-organized by the Guangdong Automobile Industry Association (GAIA) and the Guangzhou Promotion Association for Intelligent Connected Vehicle E/E Industry, took place on May 28, 2026, at the GAC L&D Center in Guangzhou. The meeting was attended by automotive OEM and supplier representatives from various disciplines, including information technology, research and development, supply chain management, and compliance.

At the seminar, presentations were given on the integration of cybersecurity management systems with existing management systems, an explanation of the TISAX® automotive supply chain information security assessment system, and examples of practical applications driven by Pony.ai’s AI agent. This report focuses on the presentations given by SGS (SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd.) and Pony.ai (Guangzhou Pony.Ai Science and Technology Co., Ltd.).
