The 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2026) was held from April 24 to May 3, 2026, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

  Great Wall Motor Co., Ltd. (Great Wall Motor) exhibited at the show under the theme of "Contracts," showcasing nearly 60 vehicles from its brands Haval, WEY, TANK, ORA, Poer, and motorcycles. During the show, Great Wall Motor held a global press conference to emphasize the essence of the automotive industry, the essential needs of users, and a return to the fundamentals of technology, as well as announcing its Guiyuan Platform, an AI-native architecture that supports five powertrain types on a single base. At the same time, Great Wall Motor is promoting its “In Local, for Local” initiative, emphasizing its long-term perspective on globalization and its development direction, as well as its continued expansion into overseas markets such as Europe.

  At this year’s auto show, Great Wall Motor showcased models such as the WEY V9X, the all-new TANK 700, and the Raptor PLUS, as well as technology achievements including the Hi4 intelligent all-wheel-drive (AWD) hybrid powertrain family, the Guiyuan Platform, and the 4.0L turbo V8 powertrain system.

  WEY, a premium intelligent NEV brand under Great Wall Motor, unveiled the V9X, a six-seater SUV plug-in hybrid, built on the Guiyuan S Platform announced at this show. The V9X is available in three versions: Luxury Family Edition, Luxury Long Wheelbase Edition, and Executive Long Wheelbase Edition. The vehicle dimensions are 5,205/5,299mm in length × 2,025mm in width × 1,825mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,050/3,150mm.

  The powertrain features the Super Hi4 hybrid system, combining a 2.0L turbo hybrid-dedicated engine with a 4-speed hybrid-dedicated transmission. The engine has a maximum output of 175kW and a peak torque of 385Nm. The three versions mentioned above are equipped with drive batteries of 66.6kWh, 55.4kWh, and 80.0kWh respectively, and feature twin motors at the front and rear, as well as an intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The maximum outputs of the front and rear motors are 110kW/220kW, 100kW/240kW, and 110kW/270kW respectively, and the peak torques are 170Nm/380Nm, 170Nm/312Nm, and 170Nm/380Nm respectively. Acceleration from 0 to 100km/h is achieved in 4.6/4.9 seconds, EV-mode range (CLTC mode) is 310/402/470km, and combined range (CLTC mode) is 1,632/1,656/1,700km. A 30% to 80% fast charge takes 9 minutes, and a 5-minute charge provides a driving range of nearly 200km.

  All grades are equipped with the Coffee Pilot 4 intelligent driver assistance system and utilize the Nvidia (Nvidia Corporation) Thor-U semiconductor for intelligent driver assistance. It supports VLA (Vision-Language-Action) for driver assistance and enables millisecond data processing. The system consists of one LiDAR unit, three millimeter-wave radar units, twelve ultrasonic radars, and other components. Furthermore, all grades are equipped with the Coffee OS 3.5 smart cockpit system, the Qualcomm (Qualcomm Incorporated) Snapdragon 8295P processor, 17.3-inch center and passenger-side twin displays, and a 29-inch SR (Simulated Reality)-HUD. In addition, the company’s in-house developed Super Smart Chassis is equipped with in-house developed closed type dual chamber air suspension and EDC (Electronic Damper Control).

  At this year's Auto China 2026 motor show, both the EV and HEV versions were exhibited simultaneously, with plans for them to be released sequentially within 2026. The V9X Super Hi4 PHV version was officially released in May 2026, with a price range of CNY 359,800 to CNY 389,800. It is planned to be launched in overseas markets in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East by the end of the year.

  WEY's new Gaoshan series was also unveiled at this motor show. The series is positioned as high-end NEV (New Energy Vehicle) MPVs, and feature four models: Gaoshan 7, Gaoshan 8, Gaoshan 9, and Gaoshan Welcab. The body dimensions of each model are 5,050 × 1,960× 1,900mm, 5,280 × 1,960 × 1,900mm, 5,410 × 1,960 × 1,890mm, and 5,280 × 1,960 × 1,900mm, with wheelbases of 3,085mm, 3,145mm, 3,275mm, and 3,145mm, respectively.

  All grades are built on the Hi4 Performance Version intelligent all-wheel-drive hybrid technology and are equipped with a 1.5L turbo hybrid-dedicated engine. The engine has a maximum output of 125kW and a peak torque of 245Nm. The vehicle features a combination of twin motors front and rear, with maximum outputs of 80kW/135kW for each motor and peak system torques of 170Nm/232Nm for each. Equipped with a 44.28kWh or 51.55kWh ternary lithium ion battery, the EV-mode range (CLTC mode) is 206/241km and the combined range (CLTC mode) is 1,135/1,156km.

  It features the Coffee Pilot Ultra intelligent driver assistance system and combines it with Nvidia’s Orin-X chip. It comes standard with one high-precision LiDAR unit, three millimeter-wave radar units, and twelve ultrasonic radars. Furthermore, it adopts the Coffee OS 3 smart cockpit system, and all grades are equipped with twin 15.6-inch wide color gamut displays, a 17.3-inch rear-seat entertainment display, and a 26-inch SR (Simulated Reality)-HUD. The price range for the all-new Gaoshan series is CNY 285,800 to CNY 349,800.

New Gaoshan series

  TANK, a premium off-road brand under Great Wall Motor, continues to promote the integration of off-road and new energy technologies. The new TANK 700, unveiled at this show, is positioned as a luxury off-road plug-in hybrid SUV, with dimensions of 5,105mm in length × 2,061mm in width × 1,985mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,000mm. The TANK 700 offers two powertrain solutions: Hi4-T and Hi4-Z.

  The two versions of the Hi4-Z (Hi4-Z Ultimate and Hi4-Z Horizon) are equipped with a 2.0L turbo Miller cycle engine and a 3-speed longitudinal hybrid-dedicated transmission, producing a maximum output of 180kW and a peak torque of 380Nm. Combining front and rear twin motors, the maximum output of the front and rear motors is 215kW/240kW, and the peak system torque is 400Nm/415Nm. Equipped with a 59.05kWh ternary lithium ion battery, the vehicle has an EV-mode range (WLTC mode) of 190km, a combined range (WLTC mode) of 1,191km, and a DC fast charging time of just 15 minutes (30% to 80% state of charge).

  Conversely, the Hi4-T (Hi4-T Pinnacle version) combines a 3.0L turbo V6 engine with a P2 motor and a 9HAT transmission, supplying a maximum engine output of 260kW and a peak torque of 560Nm. The motor has a maximum output of 130kW and a peak torque of 495Nm, and the vehicle is equipped with a 37.1kWh ternary lithium ion battery. The EV-mode driving range (WLTC mode) is 90km, the combined driving range (WLTC mode) is 866km, and the fastest DC fast charging time is 16 minutes (30% to 80%).

  All versions are equipped with the Coffee Pilot 4.0 smart driver assistance system that includes one LiDAR, three millimeter-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic radars. It also adopts the Coffee OS smart cockpit system and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor, a 15.6-inch 2.5K center display, and a 17.3-inch 3K rear-seat entertainment display. Additionally, Coffee Night Vision 2.0 (night vision system) is available as an option.

TANK 700 Hi4-T	TANK 700 Hi4-Z

  The Haval brand's Raptor PLUS was officially unveiled at the Auto China 2026 motor show. It is positioned as an off-road capable plug-in hybrid SUV. The lineup includes 5- and 7-passenger models, with seven trim levels available. Vehicle dimensions are: Length 4,912mm × width 1,950mm × height 1,905mm, with a wheelbase of 2,850mm. The exterior follows the angular, authentic off-road design style.

  All grades come standard with Hi4 intelligent electric 4WD hybrid technology, combining a 1.5L turbo engine with a 2-speed DHT hybrid-dedicated transmission. The engine has a maximum output of 115kW and a peak torque of 243Nm. The vehicle features a combination of front and rear twin motors, with a maximum output of 220kW (70 + 150kW) and peak torques of 510Nm (160 + 350Nm) and 420Nm (160 + 260Nm). The model is also equipped with a drive battery with a capacity of 23.7/33.7/44.7kWh. The EV-mode driving range (CLTC mode) is 140/192/195/252/255km.

  The Raptor PLUS is equipped with the Coffee Pilot 3 driver assistance system and employs an End-to-End large-scale driver assistance model. The Hi4 255 Ultra Navigation Edition and the Hi4 252 Ultra 7-seater Navigation Edition are equipped with one LiDAR unit, three millimeter-wave radar units, and twelve ultrasonic radars. The model also features the Coffee OS 3 smart cockpit system. All models come standard with a 15.6-inch center display and a 12.3-inch LCD meter display. The model was released in May, with prices ranging from CNY 169,800 to CNY 209,800.

Raptor PLUS

  The Poer Hi4-T, unveiled for the first time at this show, is positioned as an intelligent PHV pickup truck and will be available in two versions: the Passenger Poer Hi4-T and the Commercial Poer PHEV.

  The Passenger Poer Hi4-T has a body size of 5,416 × 1,947 × 1,886mm, a cargo bed size of 1,520 × 1,520 × 540mm, and a wheelbase of 3,230mm. Two trim levels are available: Comfort Type - 4WD with Standard cargo bed and Premium Type - 4WD with Standard cargo bed. The powertrain employs the Hi4-T Ultra-Extreme Off-Road Super Hybrid System, combining a 2.0L turbo engine, a 9-speed automatic transmission, and a BorgWarner Inc. all-wheel-drive system. The engine has a maximum output of 180kW and a peak torque of 380Nm. The motor has a maximum output of 130kW and a peak torque of 495Nm. It is equipped with a 33.1kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. The acceleration from 0 to 100km/h is reached in 6.1 seconds. EV-mode driving range (WLTC mode) is 95km, and combined range (WLTC mode) is 886km. Fast charging time is 18 minutes (30% to 80%).

  The Commercial Poer PHEV has a body size of 5,653 × 1,883 × 1,882mm, a cargo bed size of 1,760 × 1,520 × 540mm, and a wheelbase of 3,470mm. Two trim levels are available: the Elite-type with two-wheel drive and a long cargo bed, and the Elite-type with four-wheel drive and a long cargo bed. The powertrain employs the Hi4-T Ultra-Extreme Off-Road Super Hybrid System, combining a 2.0L turbo engine and the 9HAT hybrid transmission. The engine has a maximum output of 180kW and a peak torque of 380Nm. The motor has a maximum output of 130kW and a peak torque of 495Nm. It is equipped with a 33.1kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. 0 to 100km/h acceleration is reached in 6.4/6.1 seconds, the EV-mode range (WLTC mode) is 100/95km, and combined range (WLTC mode) is 947/886km.

  Both the Passenger Poer Hi4-T and the Commercial Poer PHEV are equipped with the Coffee OS 3 smart cockpit, which combines a 10.25-inch and a 15.6-inch dual floating displays. It supports five modes to suit various situations. The vehicle also supports smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and ICCOA Carlink (connected with Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, etc.).

  Official pre-orders began during the motor show, with pre-order prices ranging from CNY 179,800 to CNY 189,800 for the Passenger Poer Hi4-T and CNY 149,800 to CNY 169,800 for the Commercial Poer PHEV.

Poer Hi4-T

  ORA, a NEV compact car brand under Great Wall Motor, primarily targets young families and female users. During the motor show, the HEV and gasoline versions of the ORA 5 were officially launched. The EV version had an advanced launch in December 2025, and the HEV version had its global debut in Thailand in March 2026. Both the gasoline and HEV versions have body dimensions of 4,471 × 1,833 × 1,641mm, with a wheelbase of 2,720mm.

  The HEV version comes in two variants: the Hi2 Hybrid Air Edition and the Hi2 Hybrid Max Edition. Both employ Hi2 intelligent hybrid technology, combining a 1.5L turbo engine with a 2-speed DHT hybrid transmission. The engine has a maximum output of 115kW and a peak torque of 243Nm. The motor has a maximum output of 140kW and a peak torque of 236Nm. The 0 to 100km/h acceleration time is 7.7 seconds, and the combined fuel consumption (WLTC mode) is 4.5L/100km. The price ranges from CNY 89,800 to CNY 99,800.

  The gasoline and HEV versions offer the optional Coffee Pilot 3 driver assistance technology package, which includes intelligent hardware such as LiDAR and millimeter-wave radar. The smart cockpit features the Coffee OS 3 smart cockpit system and comes standard with a 10.25-inch combination meter and a 15.6-inch floating center display.

ORA 5 Hybrid version

  In addition to vehicle displays, Great Wall Motor's booth also showcased its achievements in core technologies such as the Guiyuan Platform, the Hi4 powertrain family electric hybrid architecture, the 4.0L turbo V8 powertrain system, and the longitudinally mounted diesel hybrid powertrain. The Guiyuan Platform is an AI-native, comprehensive powertrain platform developed in-house by Great Wall Motor, covering five types of powertrains: ICE, HEV, PHEV, BEV, and FCEV.

The Hi4 Intelligent Hybrid AWD Architecture, part of the Hi4 powertrain family, is primarily intended for family-oriented models across all segments. The Hi4-T is positioned as a full-fledged off-road super electric hybrid architecture, while the Hi4-Z is positioned as a general-purpose off-road super electric hybrid architecture for crossovers. According to the technical development staff at the venue, the Hi4 powertrain family has already been gradually adopted in models such as the TANK 400, TANK 500, and TANK 700 (see the aforementioned TANK 700), and has become an important technology foundation for Great Wall Motor's NEV off-road products.
