Summary
Geely (Geely Auto Group) announced its next-generation AI hybrid technology solution, i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid, on April 13, 2026. The technology is based on Geely's “Full-domain AI 2.0” technology and combines advanced powertrain and electrification technologies to achieve measured fuel consumption of 2.22L/100km, engine thermal efficiency of 48.41%, and achieves top-level energy-saving performance among any HEV model.
The i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid technology is scheduled to be sequentially installed in multiple models of Geely's flagship China Star series such as the Preface, the Monjaro, the fourth-generation Starray L, the fifth-generation Emgrand, and others in 2026. The "Monjaro L i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid" and the "Preface i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid" equipped with this technology were exhibited at the presentation venue.
