  According to statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in August 2021, sales of New Energy Vehicles surpassed 300,000 units, to 319,000 units. Sales are up 193.9% compared to August 2020 and 18.7% compared to July 2021.

  Sales in the January-August period totaled 1,787,000 units. This is an increase of 193.9% over the same period last year.

  By vehicle type, New Energy Passenger Cars accounted for 95.4% of the market. At the same time as the overall market is expanding, the share of passenger cars is also continuing to grow.
