- Global Light Vehicle (LV) sales fell 2.4% year-on-year (YoY) in November, while the selling rate stood at 89.9 mn units/year, up slightly from the 88.8 mn units/year reported in October.
- The overall theme of uninspiring YoY sales results and selling rates remains, a matter compounded by worldwide trade tensions and political uncertainty. Although there was some rebound in certain countries’ selling rates last month from the one-off effects like last month’s General Motors strike and Japan’s super typhoon, the world’s largest market, China, disappointed once again.
