Commentary
- Global Light Vehicle sales improved in April with a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of sales of 96.8 mn units/year. In year-on-year terms, sales were up by almost 6%.
- The primary boost to the overall market came from China, where a post-tax-cut period of cooler sales appears to be coming to an end. Other strong results were also evident in Russia and Brazil. The US and Western Europe posted merely stable results and contributed little to global expansion.
