-According to a report by GlobalData as of Q4 2025, global light vehicle production in 2025 is estimated to increase by 3.3% YoY to 93.35M mn.

-For production, a stronger demand environment underpins the 1.2 mn annual average upgrade to the 2025-2026 global LV output view. While Chinese domestic demand-led activity remains resilient, it is the ongoing growth in global penetration of Chinese LV exports that skews the global LV production forecast upgrade towards Chinese OEMs. While most other producing regions remain relatively solid, near-term LV output in North America is hindered by stock management and specific supply-side disruption at Novelis and Nexperia.
