The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, and MPVs, excluding minivans) for December 2025.
Retail
December retail sales volumes of passenger cars totaled 2.261 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 14.0%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In December, wholesale volumes of new energy passenger cars totaled 1.563 million units, up 3.3% y/y.
