The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for April 2022.
Retail
April retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.042 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 35.5%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In April, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 280,000 units, up 50.1% y/y.
