The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for January 2022.
Retail
January retail sales of passenger cars totaled 2,092,000 units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decline of 4.4%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In January, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 412,000 units, up by 141.4% y/y.
