Marklines Co., Ltd. (MarkLines) is conducting a study of Toyota’s new RAV4, which pursues a high level of perfection centered on three key areas: intelligent features enabled by advanced functionality, a highly efficient electric powertrain, and enhanced usability. The new RAV4 builds on the unique design philosophy that has underpinned the RAV4’s strong global sales performance, while further enhancing both its style and practicality.

In this study, we analyzed the design features of the center console and door trim, which are interior components, from the perspectives of texture expression, aesthetic design, and component configuration.

Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) adopted its proprietary software development platform, "Arene," for the first time in the all-new sixth-generation RAV4, released in the Japanese market in December 2025. In addition, the Arene software supports “plug-and-play,” which allows users to retrofit aftermarket hardware, such as sensors. Furthermore, the new generation multimedia system and high-performance in-vehicle information system (Panasonic IVI), through close collaboration with Arene, enable high-speed and precise voice control, as well as the integration of navigation and temperature control UI (user interface).
