On March 18, Zotye launched a less expensive version of the T300 SUV. Two versions are available, a manual transmission and an automatic transmission model, both of which are paired to a 1.5-liter engine. Suggested retail prices for the T300 range from CNY 45,900 to CNY 55,900.
The vehicle is 4,405 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, 1,640 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. It has 400 liters of cargo storage space in the trunk, and 823 liters of storage space when the rear seats are folded.
It comes with standard leather seats, an 8-inch central control LED screen with functions such as an MP5 player, broadcasting, navigation, Bluetooth compatibility, and USB ports, a backup camera, LED taillights, electric power-assisted steering, and aluminum alloy wheels. The automatic transmission version of the T300 also comes with a panoramic sunroof.
For safety, 70% of the T300’s body is made of high-strength steel The T300 is equipped with systems including ABS an EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution) system, and a dual front airbag system.

On January 26, Duke Hale, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zotye USA and HAAH Automotive Holdings Zoyte USA, announced that the first 19 dealers, some with multiple stores, have been selected in cities across the U.S.
Dealers announced today include locations in Berwyn and Doylestown, Pennsylvania; Indianapolis and Muncie, Indiana; Wichita, Kansas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Wilmington, North Carolina; Richmond, Virginia; Howard County, Baltimore, Elkton, Glen Burnie, Dundalk and Annapolis, Maryland; Washington D.C.; Sarasota and Fort Meyers, Florida; San Diego, Bakersfield, and Los Angeles, California; and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Meetings with prospective dealers will continue throughout 2019 to reach a goal of 325 dealers by launch time.
Development work continues in China on the first product to be sold in the U.S.
“We expect to be in the top 100 markets in America and have our dealer network fully in place by the time we start selling vehicles in the last quarter of 2020,” said Bob Pradzinski, Senior Vice President of Sales for Zotye.

On December 15, Zotye Auto held a ceremony in the EDZ of Shexian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province to celebrate the start of construction of its smart connected car electric component plant, which will have an annual production capacity of 1 million units.
The project of constructing the plant was signed on July 15, 2018 and will be divided into two phases. Product R&D will include the product development of smart cockpit, driver assistance, connectivity, autonomous driving, as well as active safety.
In the future, the automaker will focus on car intelligence and connectivity to provide innovative, smart, and competitive solutions and services for electronic components.
