Malaysian new car sales increase by 19.0%, production up 10.4% in September, driven by strong passenger vehicle demand

Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) announced that new car sales of 69,609 units in September increased by 19.0% over the same month in 2025. PV (passenger vehicles) sales increased 21.5% to 64,835 units. CV (commercial vehicles) sales decreased 7.1% to 4,774 units.
